Back in business, new website up! |
After many months of pretending (?!) to be lazy, I can finally unveil what I've been working on since the old site went down. I've had a lot of fun (and frustration) making it and I hope you'll agree with me that it was worth the wait.
A lot has happened since the site went down though, so I guess I should write a quick update about all-things-nL. First, we retired from competitive Natural Selection. It had been a great ride, with lots of fun, great moments and cool people, but we all felt it was time to move on to other things. The community just isn't what it used to be and they game certainly isn't getting any younger. If NS2 is good you can count on seeing nL playing again, though!
Since then, we've started playing Counter-Strike, as a substitute for Natural Selection I guess you could say. We've managed to assemble a tight team of amazing Natural Selection rejects and we're having a lot of fun playing the number one competitive multiplayer game. We recently signed up for our first tournament, the ClanBase Fall 2007 Opencup, and we're playing the first qualifier sometime this week. News will be posted about that when we know for sure when we're playing.
Even though we quit competitive Natural Selection, we haven't completely lost interest in the game though, as you should be able to surmise from reading about our current projects on the releases page. We're working on several Natural Selection movies, as well as a new version of the hackpack and a new movieNS pack. It's not over until the fat lady (sherpa) sings, in other words.
